Well different platforms is great, the more the merrier I say. I'm talking about "PvZ 4: Championship Hyper Deluxe Gold Edition!", DLC, ads during sports, and generally whoring out and making it so I'm not even interested in seeing it anymore (Call of Duty/Guitar Hero series, anyone?). THATS what I'd like to avoid.

Lol I love how everything that Nintendo does that ISN'T a sales juggernaut is considered a "failure" and everyone freaks out. SONY would have KILLED to have the 3DS's sales numbers in comparison to the last few years of PSP sales no matter how "down". Same with Microsoft and 360 sales in Japan.

GoldenEye on the N64, TF2, DOOM 2, Quake 3. Any of these would be a good place to start.

ATTENTION: To everyone questioning the graphics: I played this game at PAX Prime last summer and it looked great. As well as any of the best looking current games out there look. Yes, I agree it looks "ok" in these videos but trust me. In person it looks just fine. You won't be disapointed graphically.

I agree. "Shadows of the Empire" (N64), "The Empire Strikes Back" (Atari 2600), and the "Jedi Knight" series (PC) are deserving of this list and are kinda glaring omissions.
