5.25" blade? The branch was thicker than that.

Maybe that's why the solar panel will have a small battery behind it. But when in "e-ink" mode, they do use considerably less power due to the no backlight and no moving parts.

Many times cars are "totaled" by insurance companies due to damage or catastrophic engine failure and bought by junk yards to provide parts to repair ones that are on the road.

Li-Ion batteries already have safety features. The problem is when you have millions of them around, some will have their safeties fail, and you get a fire as a result of a cascade failure. Even this can't be 100% assured to stop fires.

I'm gonna have to agree with you. I think it's followed by the f4u Corsair, the B1-Lancer, and the SR-71, in no particular order. You have to love an airframe that can lose up to half of "insert vital airplane part here", and still fly.

Waaaaaaaaaaait. Wasn't this the same exact scene from Top Gun, only Tom Cruise was the girl on the motorcycle?

Belgium.

Could have a matching hole on the other side that allows it to click into a stand.

If it is a segmented cover, or one with folds, that can easily happen, especially if it gets dirty and also is kept in a bag where it gets jostled, even slightly.

They don't have to be that flexible to be put on a silicone backing. Only the lip of the cover has to be flexible to allow you get it over the edge of the tablet.

Look at the photos. You can see the shadows from the lip of the lid. And no, it wouldn't make sense to put it on the back, because with it being attached by a cable, you can work on it while it charges. With it on the back, you would h ave to put it face down to charge it.

If you are in the know, then show me. Unless you are in on it, your mission should be to inform, not hide.

I worry about protective covers like that, because if dust sticks to the silicone, it will scratch the screen.

From the post: "...but that blue patterned material on the inside of the cover looks suspiciously like a solar cell."

Yeah, I guess the "cameltoe" was in effect in the early 80's

No clue. Guessing in the NY/NJ area. I found some hotel receipts, but I can't recall exactly where they were right now. With all the film negatives I find at the flea market, I really should try to find a negative scanner.
