#4 - you are absolutely right. This is why you should only totally trash your partner when you know for sure it is over. Friends and family NEVER forget or forgive.

I’m not a web developer, but I’d happily volunteer copy editing time to see this come to fruition.
We (and our allies) need to be super-critical of how and where we spend our money. If this car dealership and bank have decided that protesting unchecked police brutality against people of color is “against their brand” then we need to make them rethink their marketing strategies. Corporations need to ask themselves,…
These pro athletes have everything to lose and nothing to gain from protesting. That’s what makes it so admirable. It’s easy to poo-poo them as petulant multi-millionaires, but the reality is they will continue to lose endorsements, get blackballed, suspended, or outright fired from their jobs, etc., etc.
“You must don’t think a brown cow could give white milk” - #1 on my granny’s “yo ass is mine” list
That shirtdress is an unacceptable length. Acceptable longer lengths are:
You should probably stop making things all about you and #NotAllWhitePeople’ing everywhere.
Don’t we tho. Like I’m an asshole but I mean well. Well I don’t mean well. Just don’t be an asshole to me just because I’m an asshole to you. You’re better than that.
Hi, I’m also a white lady. It’s no one’s responsibility, in these incredibly difficult and important times, to “take time” and tell you, an incredibly privileged person, how you are seen by people of color. You do not get extra credit for doing what we should all already be doing.
I need to do more research before I can feel comfortable inviting him to the cookout. I’m sure he’ll do his part and bring foil and the fancy napkins in bulk, but I just want to make sure I won’t regret it.
This shit right here is the reason why some cops, who are pro-BLM (Black Lives, not Blue) are too scared to speak up in fear of getting punished by their police dept, getting fired, or being harassed/threatened/hazed by fellow cops.
Just to clarify a few points:
Players: “We are protesting racial disparity, racial injustice, and systemic oppression.”
That said, I’m not going to let the perfect be the enemy of the good. America has had to spend a day talking about police brutality, no matter how White and isolated they are.
“I wish it would all just go away,” said Kathie Lee clueless white people.
A more appropriate quote from that movie...
The President’s own response to Kaepernick illustrates exactly why this protest is important. He called him a “piece of garbage” or something on Twitter. Meanwhile, the Charlottesville Nazis were “very fine people” — that one he actually said out loud.
Trump has united the hypocrites.
Oh for sure. “Corporations are people too my friend! So when they dumped that tea they didn’t purchase, they just raped someone. Why do you support rapists?”
I truly doubt any White person who is crazy enough to artificially darken their skin and install a quick weave would not wipe that bullshit off their skin and yank that shitty wig off if they knew all of the infuriating, insane and dehumanizing shit Black people actually go through.
