I'm not a prof. Just a grad student. Any good art analysis will talk about societal factors. However, they will be specialized analysis, so it might be harder to understand or might be overly nuanced for your needs.
ps: I am an art historian.
Okay. Are you looking on the right databases? Not just Jstor? Try the Bibliography of Asian Studies. Also, if your lib has this: [www.lib.umn.edu]
Godforbid I don't want to date some dude with a rat tail.
Noooooo! Don't date Wesley!
I am from Mass and living in the midwest—I would give anything to go back. You should move!
I love it when men who rejected you in the past check out your OKC profile and their status is "seeing someone."
I would kill to live in New England again (though VT/MA) for the longterm. I miss my family.
Time for my regularly scheduled post:
"I guess I don't really want to date someone with similar anxieties about rocking the boat."
My dad committed suicide when I was 20 and I am bipolar. Granted, I haven't been in a relationship since then despite trying, but going to therapy means that I know I will be in a great relationship because I know how to communicate in a healthy way and take care of myself emotionally. I am honestly not worried…
PM me. I will add it.
Please do! I will happily post it! You can PM it to me.
I am blogging about my dating life in order to regain some control...or something.
How did you meet this dude?
I had 4 cavities filled and blood drawn this week. I was a pin cushion. I feel you! Also, Guardisil burned!
I've had a bipolar sort of week. (I can say things like that because I am bipolar).
...and I just came home for the first time since 8am and my landlord hasn't fixed my completely unusable toilet. I had to pee in the shower. I pooped on campus but if I have any emergencies, I will have to go to the coffee shop a few blocks away. JUST FUCKING LOVELY!
Ms. Jolie, that had better be a free range diamond!
