I watched TFC yesterday!  I worried that I wouldn’t enjoy it as much as when I was younger, but I thoroughly enjoyed it!

One of my children tried to do that once... I slapped him... well, no I didn’t, but I hangrily told him that I would not get him a steak there.

Yep... just noticed yesterday that Haagen-Daz ice creams are not pints anymore, but are 14 oz. I guess I should be relieved that I don’t have to say I ate a whole pint of ice cream. XD

Normally I do this, however yesterday something told me to answer an unknown number and it was about a good family friend who was in the hospital that had been trying to reach my ex-husband, but he probably wasn’t answering his phone because it was an unknown number. YMMV

Yeah... I was getting excited that Georgia wasn’t represented... then, damn... at the bottom of the list. Kind of like where we stand in education. *sigh*

Not everywhere... We switched from TMobile to Verizon, and pay more, but we get better coverage.

Well, a few at least. ;)

I do this with my carrot peelings, onion and celery pieces. Once the gallon zip lock bag is full, I buy a package of chicken wings and throw it all in the crock pot overnight. I don’t skim off the fat, because why? :p

I do this, too... speed browsing. ;)

Exactly! If they’re going to rely on Wikipedia, then they need compensate them.

Yeah, all that, but it takes a true Otaku to have the timeline in mind. It was obscure and nothing like it is today.

The Oregon man wasn’t arrested because of DNA, but fingerprints. But, it’s a good example, because everyone thought that the fingerprint analysis was infallible.

extra.. electric.. leg. I think I’ve seen it all now.

I remember the Jamon Ruffles in Portugal! KFC in Portugal was dismal. I spent most of the 6 weeks in Portugal craving vegetables, because it was usually meat, rice and French fries at every meal. Ordered the slaw at a KFC, and it was not only -not- KFC slaw, but probably the worst slaw I’ve ever eaten.

I was going to buy an epilator from Ulta. I was standing in line and looking at the package and noticed it had hairs still in it. I decided I’d try Amazon for it. XD

Yes! I hate the pods, personally, however I have 3 boys that I’ve had do laundry and loading the dishwasher for many years. The pods make life easier all round, and I forgo messes. They’ve never expressed any interest in eating them, even thought they’re 15/16-year-old youtube addicts. ;)

Or, as my ex-husband said, “If you can survive it, I highly recommend it.” We had no basement, and our house was torn to pieces around us - me holding on to a 3 year old - so not something I’d say “isn’t scary” though.

My ex lived in California most his life, moved to Atlanta, and experienced his first earthquake (a little shake). And, a tornado destroyed our house as well. ;)

“if humanity needed something to ponder... will likely fall out of that orbit and back to the Earth within a few weeks,”

Irradiation would work... but it’s got that dreaded word “radiation” in it that causes knee-jerk reactions, even though e-coli is deadly, and irradiation is safe.
