To be fair, 90% of millenials won’t ride your HD, so you don’t have to worry about power-steering and ABS.
And most people aren’t as skilled in “not crashing into things” as they think.
The problem tends to be that you don’t always get a say in things crashing into you.
20% on delivery. You’re crazy. There’s virtually no difference in the amount of work they had to do to bring you $25 in pizza or $150.
no. you tip based on work performed. delivering room service is less work than serving food in the restaurant, so why on earth would anyone tip the same amount?
yeah fucking right. no way it makes any sense to tip the same amount for a room-service-delivered meal as you would if you ate it in the hotel restaurant, as the person delivering the meal did way less work than a typical server would.
a podunk town with hardly any non-fast-food restaurants
Still waiting for the tipping question where the answer isn’t “yes, you should tip at least 20%, and you’re a cheap jerk for even asking”...
Nope, maybe half the time the answer is to actually tip 25-30%. Unless, of course, the letter-writer says they usually tip 50%, should they still do that - the answer is always yes. I’d be interested to see a percentage of times where this column has ever indicated that the tipping is excessive. Might be boring,…
$1 maybe $2 at most...they pushed a cart knocked on a door and walked away. expected tips in the US have gotten out of hand.
why on earth do you tip at counter service?
I guess my firm just has a more lax travel reimbursement policy. If I remember right (from my training a decade ago) they used to be more draconian but found the money they spent scrutinizing expense reports exceeded the money recovered from expenses beyond those allowed. And of course it annoyed employees to have to…
You’re on an expense account. Double whatever you tip when it’s out of your own pocket.
Video games are ‘games’ for a reason though. You’d be playing a pretty big numbers game to find someone who plays Sim City and wants to be an architect or Guitar Hero and wants to be a professional musician.
The total disconnect from the professional world is appealing, less time consuming, safe and for streamers way…
I’ve been working hard on convincing the SO that Australia is badass and we need to go. She wants to go to NZ so I figure heading over to Aus for a few days while we’re down there seems appropriate.
Way to subtly point out you went to Japan last month...
