Reminds me of a comedy sketch I’m sure I’ve seen somewhere. For a revolutionary, disruptive service/slash product that doesn’t do or make anything. Doesn’t create, change, or enable in any new or useful manner. But still has a billion-dollar valuation and headed toward IPO. Sheesh. I miss the “old” economy.

Similar situation regarding rental cars for business. I’ve completely stopped renting cars when I travel. It’s Lyft all the way. There are only two or three sites that I still need a rental car for. They’re generally out from the airport 50-75 miles.

That said, if I’m ever hanging out with an adult who cites “basic respect,” as the reason not to call their kid “buddy,” or something like that, then I probably don’t need to learn the kid’s name anyway, since their parents and I probably aren’t going to be super close.

I’ve been a fan of Bizarre Foods since the very beginning, but I just can’t get into this.
