Amazon, natch. It’s not cheap, though. Just checked and it’s $28/gallon. I don’t recall it being quite that expensive back when winters were reliably cold and snowy. You might be able to buy it for less at an industrial supply store.

Oh, BTW. Living where I am now, I don’t need to use it anymore. The $3 a gallon -30F windshield washer fluid is just fine. But up north, water-isopropanol-PG is effective.

Where did you get this information? I have a masters degree in polymer science and both silicone rubber and vulcanized natural rubber have excellent resistance to isopropyl alcohol.

Well said. There’s much more, but this topic is far beyond the scope of what could be meaningfully tackled here. Not so easily Instagram’d.

What I’ve found is that use of bamboo boards may accelerate the frequency with which you have to touch up, but it is nowhere near anything like cutting on glass, ceramic, or granite. It does matter how you cut on a surface. Speaking of blade damage, this weekend my kid cut craft foam on the granite counter-top...using

Yep, it is indeed possible to develop strong opinions about cutting surfaces.

That was exactly my curiosity and my concern.

Perhaps I missed it in the video, but what would happen if you ignited it while pressed on someone’s skin?

Unbelievable.

I am totally down for anything that can get my heart pumping and keep me regular.

God, how I miss my ‘02 bugeye WRB WRX. Midlife is calling and I think its name is ‘05 STi.

Would you say this is “one sneaky trick?”

“...this sneaky trick...”

That’s a good quality of life benefit.

You’re right on. 1K is the first real level that makes a difference in terms of upgrades.

Soft rollout? I’ll give this a try on the next flight with inflight wifi.

I wish I could. But IAD is my nearest airport. And with rewards as stingy as they are, I bite the bullet and focus on one carrier.

Ouch. Do you have status? That’s a big factor in how seats are blocked and with respect to the options during preflight check-in. I just dropped $2.2K on flights to Asia and I have seat assignments on the aisle on all legs. Will try to move up to bulkhead aisle at check-in.

Group 2 is the worst group to be in. Really. Platinum and 1K gets you to Group 1. Not far enough away to avoid the stench of the unwashed masses, but better.

Hehe, who’s to say that wasn’t my first thought as well? ;)
