Note: I have not tried any of their (or any other manufacturer’s) USB-C Power Delivery capable chargers with my late-2016 MBP 13" with TouchBar. It seems that this is something that really no manufacturer has gotten totally right yet. Delivering the full 60 (13")-80 (15") watts at the spec voltage seems to be the…

I had an Anker 5-port USB PowerPort and it served me well as the family’s main charging station for over 2 years. I recently swapped it out for their PowerPort+ 6 with QC3 fitted with 4 x Lighting and 2 x microUSB charge cables and it’s working great. It will easily handle our three iPhones and iPad Air, Fire tablet,…

Cool ride...but, goodness, what price nostalgia?
Yes, I’ve had colleagues stopped and their jerky confiscated. I’ve been lucky so far going in and out with stuff that’s sealed and packaged. They’ve asked me to take it out of my luggage and rolled their eyes a bit but I’ve been able to carry on. Which is a nice thing as I can’t find a cured moose sausage I like over…
I travel quite a bit for business and use both Uber and Lyft extensively. When I get a confirmed driver, I memorize the first three characters of their license plate and look for that. There might be multiple Nissan Rogues passing by terminal door #4, but likely only one with plates that start with “VZR...”
Awww yeah. The heck with hanging paintings, rugs, and knicknacks and other junk. If I had a man-room, I’d line that sucker with meat.
Hah, cool. I’ve tried exactly that brand of kangaroo and ostrich jerky and didn’t like them all that much. Picked them up in Texas somewhere IIRC. One class of jerky I just can’t bring myself to try is poultry jerky: chicken or turkey. I just have this visceral reaction to poultry that isn’t fully heat cooked. Pork…
Tell me about it. Whenever I travel, I am always on the lookout for the local cured meat products such as jerky, sausages, meat sticks.
Frequent flyer here and I experience and do the same. I use cable (zip) ties on all checked luggage zipper pulls even for units with built-in TSA locks.
There seem to be two mechanisms at play here:
Exactly right about the film. When applied properly and well, it’s completely invisible.
Ahhh. It’s hard not to think of this as absurd or whimsical. But it sort of is, Heather. Idea not vetted...but Instagrammed, so it’s okay to report?
Ahh Anker, you caught me at a time when I’m actually full up on all the powerbanks, adapters, and cables I need. Bring on more Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C Gear and let’s chat.

Well heck. Boo to me for buying at full price right at its release. I swear I’m never going to buy another Anker item unless I see it as a deal here.

I have used the 10" version for many years. It is economical, tough, and provides an incredibly secure grip even when your knife hand is wet or oily. I also use the smaller mini-chef and the bread knife.

Is this the kind of bag that you’d use in a sous vide system?

Thanks. I took a look at our current Rival crockpot and it’s been serviceable as a 5-qt. unit. The 8-qt stock pot I use to make chili never gets more than 2/3 full. And so I went with the 6-qt Instant Pot. So excited!
Okay, question. Family of four. 6 or 8 qt Instant Pot?
Thank you for a good read, Kristin.
