Hmmmmm.....interesting. I really liked "The Kingdom" because it humanized the Saudi characters so nicely, but then again, Mann did that extraordinary version of "The Last of The Mohicans", didn't he?

"The Kingdom"——which he did, though it's not a Cruise movie——is another flick which has some surprising emotional impact. Ahem. Sorry.

Yeah, she has a stunning tin ear. Natalie Portman's got a few jaw droppers to her credit, too. There's one where she talked about the recession was kind of thrilling, that people were facing exciting choices or something.....

There's a deleted scene where The Other is threatening Loki with something that hints at what he might already have endured.
