I'm glad they're trying to emulate a TV broadcast. Any simulation sport game should try to replicate it.

Now playing

The portal 2 dialogue videos made me waste about 4 hours of my time once. Greatest 4 hours of my life.

Well, I can wait. I've learned how to have infinite patience for things, because in 2002, I heard of this new album 'coming soon' called Chinese Democracy and not long after about this kicking 'soon to be released' video game called Duke Nukem Forever.

Because they are preventing you from doing what you want with your software. Also, it probably has something to to with content-protection on non-HDMI cords.

"Revenge is a Bitch"

so wait, is this something that Xbox games seriously do? I have a PS3 and have never had this problem whenever I switch over to my smaller non-HD TV that's off to the side (so I can play PS3 games or watch a movie while on my computer). It's just another bullshit form of DRM. The only thing I can think of on PS3

I see nothing wrong with it. I pirated a copy of Doom 3 because the copy I bought didn't install (small error on disc 2 prevented it from being read), rather than dealing with returning it to where I got it or getting it fixed, I pirated CD2, installed, and could play the game I payed for that way.

Hopefully, in a year, they release "Starhawk multiplayer" for $15 on PSN like they did with Killzone 3. The beta was really really really fun, and I'll probably get the full game, but still.

My personal favorite fourth-wall breaking moment was in Prince of Persia sands of time, in the library area, where the Prince says something to the affect of having to gather certain items (as in a point n' click adventure game) and Farah says "this isn't that type of game" which the Prince goes "funny, she thinks

I love mods. This might make me strange, but for Bethesda/ open world moddable games, I like playing it on consoles and completing it then hitting up the PC version.

I noticed the Wheelbarrow thing, which seems to be a long-running gag that I missed the beginning of. anyone care to explain?

I never really understood why they changed artwork between Europe and USA. I understand why we might have different artwork than say, Japan, but more often than not in games, Europe gets a superior box art.

Palette swap that shirt to black and he'd look like a random guitarist for a random hard rock band.

companies that will go completely out of business once that happens:

As much as I love Mass Effect 3's multiplayer (it was surprisingly good, also, who knew co-op could be so competitive?), it's not good enough to drain time away from my favorite multiplayer shooter time sink, Killzone 3. (Although, how cool would it be if more publishers did what GG did and release the multiplayer

I refuse to call it the "game of the year edition". It's not. A GOTY Edition has all the extras on disc. This is simply Batman: Arkham City with codes for bonus stuff, aka, after you use the codes it's normal Arkham, not GOTY (games like Fallout 3 & New Vegas do the "GOTY" version the right way.)

I'm guessing the 13.7 Million people who in the US who bought Black Ops when it came out care...

If Naughty Dog / Sony released this as "the Uncharted Trilogy movie" on 3D Blu-Ray for $20 or so, I'd buy it day 1.

Bill Belichick? Who's that? Oh, you mean NE Coach? yeah, NE COACH is my favorite coach in Madden!
