well, I'm betting some Corporate Espionage took place, resulting in them staying up. #lamejokes

"Don't be silly, I love you very much *Breaks invention* Oops, I guess I Shouldn't Touch!"
i love doing stuff like that. I kept a franchise journal for Madden 08 that I ran from 2007 (when the game came out) up until last year. It was epic, beautiful, and random. It helped me get joy out of a 4 year old PC game.
I hate GFWL. I remember when my internet was out for a day because of maintenance or something, i wanted to Play L.A. Noire on Steam. "COULD NOT CONNECT TO GAMES FOR WINDOWS LIVE. FUCK YOU!" I added that last bit, but that's what it felt like.
That looks quite a bit like my cousin and his wife. It isn't him or her, but it looks like them. I'm slightly creeped.
Obviously, it's Half Life 3, you guys.
Here's hoping Witcher 2 on 360 sells like hotcakes *during a hotcakes sale* so CD Projekt can go, "What's next, how about we port this baby to PS3?"
Here's what I've never understood. If a game is on sale new, hasn't the devloper already gotten money for it whether it's sold or not? Didn't Gamestop et. al. have to buy those games from the publisher before putting them on the shelve?
I'm.... I'm going to have nightmare now. Thanks, Kotaku. Thanks.
Sony (and all other console publishers) should enforce a standard on this. You shouldn't turn off a game's servers for at least 5 years.
nothing wrong with having one, it's just looks horrible in God of War. Everything about the interface is horrible, especially the health bar and those giants button prompts for context actions. For as good looking as the game itself is, it makes the interface stand out as horrible even more.
As long as they upgrade the horrible PS2 looking interface (health bar, menus, ect). I'd love another God O' War
Breaking News!
Heavy Rain, The Witcher, L.A. Noire, Elder Scrolls IV & V, Half-Life 2, all games that took much longer to make than the average game development cycle. They directly oppose this argument.
I'm glad she didn't say "Well, yeah, I havn't played the game, but it looks cool!"
Reminds me of that time Dave Hayter was used as live-action Snake for some awards show or something.
I cried laughing at that...
I hope they become aware of that issue in the future and fix it. I doubt it though, they didn't add practice squads, more than 55 players on roster during offseason/ preseason, & a working injured reserve until MADDEN 2012. I'm guessing we'll get realistic retired numbers by Madden 2025
one thing I absolutely loved about it was how fleshed out it was, in terms of detail. It's probably the most detailed game I've ever seen. The developers probably spent hundreds of hours creating ultimately pointless background objects and things. It's amazing and I wish more games would be like that.
...More like PORNsona? Anyone? Anyone? *Crickets chirping*
