If you haven't bought a console until now, and have been on the PC... man there just isn't, and wasn't, anything in these next gens that should be convincing you to move to the console space if you've already been this long without.

That compute power isn't going to make much of a difference when the memory bandwidth(both are SoC's remember) is almost the same. PS4 has 176gb/sec bandwidth in its GDDR5, and the xbox one has 68gb/sec in its DDR3, and 102gb/sec in its ESRAM buffer, so we're talking 170gb/sec for xbox one and 176 gb/sec for PS4.

They are both 7790's SoC. Sure PS4 has some more Radeon cores, and GDDR5 (which the ESRAM on the xbox one should close about 87% of the gap of), but overall graphical bandwidth and horsepower, we're talking within an margin of 10% of each other, which isn't going to make a lick of difference when it comes to…
