I think he did. I think he's worried about the part where it says that there is potential to be at least a few (and more if it catches on) games that he won't be able to play because of a spotty connection.

I recall that using that method with a lvl 25ish Zell, he hits for 2300~ per hit, and cycling between those combos you can get a hit in 1/10th of a second, on what I believe was a 13 second timer.

Junction 99 ultima to Zells strength, hit his blitz move or w/e it was called, cycle between up/down and O/X combos, win game.

I actually reeaally lucked out with this desk. I was shopping around online for a U shaped one like this and was surprised at the limit in options for any reasonable price.

That's the cable modem, which is also a wireless router. Used to have a shelf in that spot until I decided to turn the desk, and due to the long, but not quite long enough ethernets I have running crudely through this old house I'm renting, I had to keep it in the same spot, and make due by wall mounting it. A little

A day late to the party... but here's mine. I hate clutter, and I love my country and vice of choice, what can I say?

The bezels don't drive you insane? Super nice setup, I personally have been holding off of a multi-screen setup until they can get screen bezels under 2mm, I just can't imagine not staring at them constantly.

Well it's probably a real pattie, for one, and your probably getting a healthy portion of fries/salad on the side.

I sense an epic electricity bill.

Further to this; any of the overclocked 4gb 670's are more or less equal to a stock 680 as well, and you might find some of them on sale a bit cheaper. That is mainly if you are

You won't be disappointed, especially regarding the Lightboost, which is a feature I just can't shut up about. Basically it strobes the backlight in sync with the refresh rate, originally intended to brighten stereo 3d images since active shutter 3d usually dims the image to an extent.

Currently it's the Asus VG248QE and VG278, with the 1ms response time and Lightboost tech. Just got a VG248QE about 2 months ago, and I have to say, Lightboost for 2D gaming is nothing short of a revelation when it comes to twitch gaming such as FPS. Its something like a 100ms increase to your human response to the

When you get into internet connections upwards of 100Mbps, it's really not hard to fill up multiple terabytes. When your torrents are going anywhere from 2-6 MB/sec on average, and your steam downloads exceeding 18 MB/sec, it fills up preeettttyy quick.

Oh yes, I remember the N64 Christmas fondly as well. Only regret regarding mine, is that my dad sold the SNES and all the games, to put the cash towards buying me the N64 for xmas. At the time I thought it was totally worth it; but in hindsight, I really wish I could have kept my original SNES collection.

I disagree on the points relating to control; but I agree on the front that I, too, cringe every time I see this keyboard. Ugliest keyboard ever.

Disagree. This seems legit.

IMO; Kat is more attractive, mostly due to better modeling, mocap, and more voice work so there's more of a character there to "get to know", so to speak, without getting into reading wiki's and such.

Wouldn't have made it on the same list in the android world, however. We have widgets for that. :)

Agreed... I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out how this pertains to video games (and by extension, why its on kotaku).

This. This is exactly how I feel as well. The talk and tech seemed great at first, but as soon as that gameplay trailer came out, it was like getting smacked with a 100lb bag of "dash your hopes, sir, we are still stuck in the wheel of publisher-directed game design".
