I never had bothered to look at Arma III engine demo videos until today; and I have to say I would almost rather wait another 8 months for Day Z standalone if it would mean porting it to that engine. It just looks really nice, and the nighttime lighting is far, far improved, not to mention the diving.
Right, but all the changes being made to the engine are on a mechanical level. Hall has stated more than once that the game is going to look more or less the same, graphically, but with many mechanical changes under the hood that make the game run the way he had envisioned but was restricted from by the confines of…
So what I understand from this is if I get this game and the GoT mod, it will cleanse a bit of the disappointment left behind by Game of Thrones: Genesis?
Lose the shades and I'm sold.
Awesomenauts , Battle for Graxia , Heroes of Order & Chaos, Airmech, Avalon Heroes.... just to name a few more MOBA's.
League of Legends would be far and ahead at the top of this list, unfortunately you couldn't quantify it accurately with this survey since most LoL players would google "lol" to search it.
"US Only", dammit! I was excited for a moment... Alas.... I guess I'll just have to be thankful for free health care...
Man, if they did a mod or rerelease of Demon's Souls OR Dark Soul's with buddy co-op... man... that would be a fun fuckin weekend.
Scott's also quite the cynic, which is grating at times. But it's also necessary, because as charming as Victor Lucas' boyish passion for games is, it often cushions his scores where as Scott is less forgiving (although 60% of the time he's a little over cynical).
EP is still on G4 in Canada. 5 episodes a week. So is reviews on the run, which is what the judgement day segment eventually became. ROTR is now a 30 min reviews show, also on daily. www.reviewsontherun.com airs each episode online as it comes out.
Now now, we all read comments on Kotaku don't we? Semantics, sir, semantics. Your point holds no water. This reply literally took me 23 seconds, not a big deal in the grand scheme of my life.
Sounds more like a generously translated admission that they have been listening to all the player complaints from Dark Souls involving not being able (without great difficulty and luck) to party up with your friends, instead relying on purely random connections with no way of choosing who you run into.
I agree on all fronts sans TV-show. The show is up there; but I still think Sons of Anarchy or Breaking Bad have to take the top show spot for me.
No worries! ^_^ I apologize in return for the semantics.
Well these are weddings rings, the kind you exchange at the ceremony.
Was just about to post exactly this. I'm sure whenever whatever contract Phil Fish has with Microsoft is up, he'll jump right on releasing to Steam just to stick it to Microsoft.
As someone who just phased out his heartbreaking FX-8150 setup for an i5-3570k, I'm sad to say that theres not much you can do. Most software just isn't designed to utilize more than one thread, and sadly the FX-8150 is 8 underpowered cores that combine to more or less equal the multi-core performance of a same-gen…
That was hilarious, thanks!
The one art director dude looks like Steve Vai with a killer moustache!
