They find out her name eventually and she’s an important character.

What if in fifteen years the UK turns into what the US is now?

Talk about the heat of the moment.

I’m wondering if Netflix is playing Bandersnatch-type games with this season—when I watched this last night it offered me this episode first instead of the actual first of the three.

I liked it kind-of, watched the whole thing, but with the possible exception of the finale I thought the races themselves were poorly done. They were shot from a considerable distance with very few replays, close-ups or in-car shots. More races, less humans is what this show needed.

So trash the cheap-ass ones. Fair enough. Thanks for the answer.

Interesting that she was pushing a bicycle—spokes from bicycle rims are known to screw up radar guns’ readings. I once knew a kid who got a ticket for speeding on his shitty 10-speed at some ludicrous velocity, like 70 MPH, that if true would have shattered the land speed record for a self-propelled vehicle. So can you just force-close the app when you’re not out exercising and turn it on when you are?

Ambient sounds are good, soundtrack music is even better. Video game scores especially, I’ve found. Regular music with lyrics, you’re trying to think of words and there’s words coming at you from the song...it’s distracting.

If I made a movie of the Trump presidency, Kushner would be played by Paulie Shore.

The 1970 Lincoln Continental MK III I had in the late 90s and early 00s. Great as sculpture, useless as a car. It traveled about an equal number of miles being pushed as under its own power. If you can find a heavier car to have to push, don’t buy it. I miss that piece of shit.

Has anybody tested how well this newfangled 3D Touch works with a screen protector?

I ask this in all seriousness: is there an article that explains this controversy without descending into outraged screeds? I gather there was a female developer who got harassed and the whole thing blew up into epic trolling, but I've only seen references to the shitstorm and don't know the actual story.

The most obvious answer is, of course, The Car (a modded 1970 Lincoln MK III).

Is the detailing eraser to clean in the little corners and crevices of things? I could use that on a lot of stuff, if so.
