Still a better day at the beach than this.
That was a great cliffhanger ("We've got to go back!" still gives me fucking chills) but the resolution of it was meh at best.
Yeah man, it's stupid as hell but I'd be there with you partying my ass off right up to the moment the photon torpedoes hit. And thanks for saving me the trouble of hunting down that pic.
Also they use the exact same detonator props as BSG.
So here's a question: sometimes her name is Daenerys Targaryen and other times Daenerys Stormborn. What did I miss?
As much as this guy is Darwin Award material and as inappropriate as it was for him to do that to kids, I have to admit I laughed out loud when one of the basketball players whipped the ball at his head.
Now that you mention it, a little, yes.
What's XIII and how can it be having a finale on 6/29 when it never had a premiere or any episodes? Sounds cool though.
Not sure I'd compare this to Sarah Connor Chronicles but a pretty solid pilot. There's something about Nichols that raises her above the sea of similar-looking marginal actresses—I didn't know she was in this until I watched it, and was happy when she appeared.
Your point is well made!
The third pic from the bottom, which was an especially expensive car (a Packard if I'm not mistaken) seems to have generated the most mugging and grinning, which would suggest you're onto something.
Mugging and grinning at car crashes seems a bit tactless, so people in the past were...assholes? Although in their defense what I was mostly thinking looking at these was, the parts salvageable for restoration would be worth a fortune today.
This was real. [www.joeld.net]
Yes I think these are bullshit, but has anyone actually charted the pattern of where and when they all occurred? It seems like even a half-assed investigation should start with that simple analysis but all I've ever seen on this are isolated videos.
Yeah but what about the alien wombat in his pocket?!
Another one, I want to say Alastair Reynolds' Absolution Gap , had a bunch of jawa-like sandcrawler churches doing exactly that. But that's not to take away from KSR really, he always brings the cool shit.
Those posts in front of large roll-down doors are also put there to prevent thieves from crashing stolen cars through the doors at night and stealing all the stuff inside.
And...party on dudes!
By the time you finish this show will have been cancelled and forgotten.
