I'll get excited when it's not an MB.

Now, when will it be the Alfa Romeo GTV6's turn... Hedging my bets.

Ways not to start drifting...

Love the engine sound. This definitely is too serious a sport for me. I prefer to have fun in my motorsports and relax. The technical discussion of cams and stuff at the beginning was way over my head. I will stick to something less technical like NASCAR.

Common misconception here. The engine isn't at all problematic in these cars. In fact, it's insanely durable and is quite similar to any old GM lump except for a few differences; namely that there isn't a timing chain, the cam is gear driven and the cylinders have liners. That sucks. That thing not only looks good, but is damn fast... or at least that was my impression when Vettel took me for a spin in it on Congress Ave.

I'm familiar with the culture at Nissan/Infiniti. And de Nysschen is correct on all accounts. The cars have that disconnected driving experience for a reason.
