They funnel dumb money to public works, so I’m all in favor of them.
If enforcing the law hurts the safety and economy of the country, then the law needs to change. Examples like these show why those ‘crimes’ should not be prosecuted, and they’re only being pursued for the sake of political populism and fear mongering.
This is basically what I’m saying. I thought they originally did announce it as a limited availability/collectors thing, or am I wrong about that?
If they’re being re-sold for $200 then Nintendo could have charged $200 and made an extra $1m in profit.
Except this isn’t a factory race car. This is a factory souped up performance car. An ACR and GT3 RS are going to be much, much harder to replicate than something like the Hellcat or Demon.
It’s similar in theory but completely lacking in context. The Demon doesn’t have racing heritage or professional racers buying it, it doesn’t look significantly different from a regular Challenger, and it will still be slower than what most speed shops can do on their own for the same price, except this will have a…
Yeah, I’m aware of that, which is why I’m skeptical that they can actually maintain the business without losing money like Uber did.
But does the lower taxes equate to having that much more money for wages that it can still run as a business?
How does Rideaustin afford the wages? Is it because they have lower taxes?
Those self-washing quarter-activated stations with the spray wand that does soap, water, and pressure, are great. You don’t have to rely on the graces of machines that trap you while they clean, but you can still quickly soap down and wash a car without lots of prep, your own hose, effort, or time.
$5k a month for a 4 bedroom home in NYC that you will someday own is not that bad. To get any cheaper you have to start sharing bedrooms or commuting an hour to work. $1.5m may seem like a lot outside of Chicago, NY, LA, or SF, but it’s about what is required to raise a family in those cities.
Top gear understands. When you review a supercar, it’s not a car review, it’s entertainment.
It’s like a phone booth, but it’s filled with money and powerful fans so that you have to scramble to grab as much money as you can before the timer runs out.
Most non-digital cinema is still 24fps. High framerate cameras (like used in the hobbit) tend to cause people to get headaches and leave the theater.
A brand new S500 isn’t going to take 5+ months to repair a fender bender because the dealer didn’t order parts (or the parts were unavailable), and your shop isn’t the only one in the area you can get it fixed at, so you have other options.
I don’t think the cost is the issue here, but the time. People aren’t really complaining about the P100D, they’re complaining about the possibility that the P100D’s issues will affect the Model3, which is trying to legitimately compete with camry and corolla buyers.
If the cop wasn’t going the same speed or faster, then you could assume that the cop didn’t believe it was reasonable or prudent to go 40mph. The case doesn’t depend on the judge or David’s opinion, it depends on the cop’s opinion.
The lesson here isn’t about driving too fast, it’s that cops have an authority to determine what ‘too fast’ is, and if you drive past an officer, you’re going too fast for them.
2500lbs in 2017 is impossible for something that isn’t a bare-bones 0 star crash rating no options economy car.
