I might be beating a dead horse, but it was because George was using styling cues from the 40s and 50s automobiles, which ARE clean and sleek. Padme's ship is a 40s Bugatti or Jaguar, or perhaps an E-type. The speeders are Checker cabs.

Yeah, but it's just a saying, and applies more to personal loans than with business debt.
Automation requires significant investment into development and expanding manufacturing (building robots to build robots), which may not be possible unless those with engineering degrees were willing to accept significantly lower wages. Additionally, the rate of expansion with automated equipment is much lower than…
Their economy is still more communist than most western countries though, so you're not technically wrong.
A bloody revolution in China would be, initially for the west, a huge economic boom. Not only could we supply and fund the war (either us or Russia, I think that the US would definitely be in favor of a democratic China, especially if we used military support to write off our debts with the old regime. The US's…
And even then, China's economy isn't close to the communist ideal. I'm not sure there are any true communist states left, with maybe North Korea being the exception, and even that's a stretch given their strong fascist tendencies.
There are people out there that think the F1 is old and outdated, and that the Veyron is far superior in every way.
This is the same reason why even the McLaren F1 is underrated. It works 100% all the time and doesn't break down. A 458 can't even do that.
I think you underestimate how easy (and not a big deal) several million dollars of debt is for a company. It's not like a personal loan, because of the corporate veil, liquidation prices, and fiduciary duty.
There are definitely varying degrees of stealth.
S-class definitely. 7 series is iffy, I'm a fan of RWD > AWD, but that V10 is hard to ignore.
At 343kph he seems to be moving about ~70mph faster than the other traffic on the road. The other traffic would have to be going 150mph+ for that to be real.
One of the replies basically said that despite this, its still selling and making them money. So they're going to keep it on until it stops being profitable, which looks like this next year.
I was actually quite surprised at the comment, usually it seems like these reps are under strict orders not to reveal anything substantial.
I would kill to see Mitsubishi come out with an all-electric 2+2 seat entry level coupe. With electric motors you won't suffer economy issues with having it be RWD and you can distribute the weight a lot lower to avoid packaging problems and increase cabin space.
