So, are you saying they should lower the power to economy car levels, and make it smaller to compete with the imports? Ford should make a small rear drive sport coupe; maybe even with a convertible/roadster version. And, they should call it something other than Mustang.

Those wheels were a pain in the buttocks to clean.

New engine block, revised (again) heads, 3650 trans instead of the t-45, 31 spline half shafts instead of 28. The rest was pretty much cosmetic, but helped to give the Cobra an identity again. But really, sorting out the power issue was the most important, I think.

I'm just a simple cave man, thawed out by your scientists and brought back to life. I don't know anything about your Subliminals. I dont' know about your Sharptons or your your Acuras and your NAACP frightens me. But I do know one thing: If a man goes through the trouble of writing a comedic, entertaining and relevant

$9000?

Maybe.I thought I remember they were shooting for about 250 hp to 280 hp while developing the Cobra in '93 and the magazines expected it based on what GT40 heads and intakes accomplished in GTs. I also remember being a bit disappointed when it was only advertised as 240 hp.

I actually got to drive one quite a bit that used to be part of the Oregon State Police. It was, for its time, pretty impressive.

Let's not forget how bad this one sucked: The Police Interceptor. Helping to hand out tickets to a whole generation of youngsters from the early '80s to the mid '90s.

1999 Mustang Cobra.

I'm right there with ya. IF I ever get my '52 for F-1 done, a four-eyed fox is next. Just don't tell my wife. I'm going to have to ease her into the idea since it will mean moving to a house with more garages.

Mustang: Get 'em while they still look like a mustang.

1) I am automobile. You shall have no other forms of transportation before me.

"I was stepping on the brake. I swear! Oh dammit, now my insurance company will have to write a check THIS BIG!"

These two are more likely to stomp grapes.

+1.

I know the feeling in regard to shipping. I bought a '52 Ford F1 a few years ago for $500 and it stayed behind in Oregon when I moved to Ohio. Last year I had it brought out and it cost me $800.

Interestingly, the only kid to die in a car accident at my high school while I was there, died in one of thse. Goofing aournd with his riend (who was ina '69 camaro) he hit the gravel on the side of the road, lost it and rolled.

"Hey, Trav, whattaya wanna do today?"
