In the US at least, "office administrator" is often the fancy title for a secretary, receptionist, etc. - the person who preps the conference room for meetings, sorts the mail, takes catering orders, gives out parking vouchers and security badges, and all of the other tasks needed to keep the office running smoothly.

My favorite zoo conservation success story will always be the California condor, since my hometown San Diego Zoo played such a large part in its recovery. When the last remaining wild condor was captured in 1987, there were 22 left. In less then 30 years, the population has been raised to over 400, over half of them

American Bison are also an interesting comeback story. They went from tens of millions to only 750 at the turn of the century, and have now rebounded to over 300,000. Most of those are located in large preserves and parks though since much of their original habitat is partitioned by fences.

Yeah, plus rhinos are more difficult to keep in captivity than smaller ungulates, and they're slower to breed. (though that's not to say captive breeding can't help; I believe some captive-bred rhinos have been brought to the wild)

This and the story of the oryx are the two that are important to me. The oryx were down to 8 left in the world, and made a comeback - enough to where there are thriving numbers in the wild now - and it is considered an honor to become a caretaker for them.

Spider-Man/Peter Parker appears for the first time as part of the MCU in a recreation of his Civil War unmasking scene. He is then killed off in the Sinister 6 movie, and Miles Morales takes over going forward.

He chose one of the most powerful and influential women in human history over an 18 year old shop girl?

Shocking.

When it comes to the posters/art, tee-shirts, and other merchandising, there's no excuse for excluding Black Widow or any other prominent female character.

Why was pre ordering Battlefield 4 a bad thing?....oh right you must be on console instead of the true home of Battlefield. so sorry

I posted this comment elsewhere, but it's worth noting that even with Tattooine as Vader's home planet, it still makes sense. His Mom died here, and shortly thereafter any innocence he had left when he slaughtered all those sand people. It was his home as he grew up as a slave. It's the single last place in the galaxy

#AllLivesMatter was started as a response to the back-and-forth "#BlackLivesMatter" and "#PoliceLivesMatter" after two NYPD officers were executed.

It depends on the sanctuary and the zoo. There are lots of really shitty animal sanctuaries out there.

and is the ape now free to leave that sanctuary?

I understand and appreciate your sentiments but I think you're doing a huge disservice to hyenas. They're actually very good hunters. And of course they're going to go for a weak animal, that's how it works. Calling them shitty, opportunistic, cheap shot assholes is kind of dumb and anthropomorphic.

Surely you mean these two?

The REAL Lee. Relationship with his mother, how he met Ig, the theft, the dead eye...

Clint Eastwood as Roland Deschain:

Well, there's a reason it was like The First Avenger: they were both directed by Joe Johnston, the man you call when you need nostalgic Saturday matinee serial-like filmmaking.

It just got on Netflix! Definitely a precursor to Captain America because of the style and creator, but tonally a bit closer to a kiddy Mummy. Classic live-action Disney, definitely a blast.
