This is something I wonder about, actually. Even before the pandemic, I saw a few articles around reporting that a lot of young adults described themselves as being lonely, socially isolated, with few or no friends. Seeing this makes me wonder, is it only men that are sad and lonely, or are there plenty of lonely

In no particular order:

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I, for the life of me, do not understand why they didn’t make Apex Legends with Titans.

“Ya’ll are gonna talk all that crap to my angels on the esports team, the nicest person in the entire world, you little internet keyboard monsters,” David said in the stream according to Vice. “No, I won’t stand for that. I’m bigger than you.”

I know, and I want to get off of Mr. Bone’s Wild Ride. I’m just so sick of interesting developments in the plot in one expansion getting squandered in the next, over and over and over again. They even said during Legion that they were bringing on actual writers to ensure consistency from one expansion to the next and

Yeah, if anyone has a front-row seat to Sylvanas’ history it’s me: played Warcraft 3, played mostly Horde in WoW, my main and a few alts are all Forsaken.

Initially, ol Slyv was mostly just a hypocrite: arrogant and overconfident when you fight her in WC3, then when you play as her after she’s been raised, she spends

The faction war was just never going to go anywhere. It was best when they just kept it at a neighborly tension, a rivalry that kept both sides sharp but never got so heated that they couldn’t set it aside to deal with that week’s end-of-the-world crisis. When they tried to escalate it, they never committed to that:

Legion was honestly the best that WoW has ever been. The artifact weapons giving every spec a distinct flavor, the class hall questlines, the questlines of each zone, Suramar (holy hell, Suramar), the raids, the overarcing expansion story, the revamped dailies, all of it was just fantastic. They made me hope again,

Even from that perspective, Sylvanas’ actions have been horrific. The Forsaken have always, always, always just been a tool to her, just fanatical meatshields for her protection, but at least she kept up the pretense of supporting their growth for a while. Then BfA rolls around and she’s nuking her own people along

I am so incredibly ambivalent about WoW right now. Like, all the new character and class options for Shadowlands look amazing, but a big part of an MMO like this is immersing yourself in the world, and after the massive dumpster-fire that was BfA’s plot, I have been burned so hard by the developers that I really don’t

As concerning it is for its implications of escalation, it is still comforting to know that armed conflict does happen (which the white supremacists are certainly hoping for) that there are those opposed to them willing to step up and fight back. A big part of the “snowflake” rhetoric is based around the idea that the

It’s about damn time someone made this concept a reality. City building games are fun until you hit the endgame and there’s nothing to DO with this grand masterpiece you’ve perfected. RTS games are fun but tend to be a little messy in their base layouts, as metas tend to emphasize having just enough infrastructure

They are absolutely bonkers and I love it.

Thank you for sharing this with us. I, and I’m sure many others, can relate to many of the issues touched upon here, but your story had a particularly special meaning for me. Even before the pandemic, I’ve been struggling with feelings of low self-esteem caused by the same things you went through: shame and isolation

With the recent resurgence of the Me Too movement and horror stories being shared from the tech industry, it’s revolting to see how many guys out there still think this kind of scenario is the ideal romance, who would view this film and unironically try to emulate Massimo.

We will always need to have police to some degree, so long as we live in a civilized society instead of “survival of the fittest” anarchy. The rules of that society are laws, which are meaningless unless you also have law enforcers. Those law enforcers generally need to be trained and equipped to handle violent

Please do us all a favor and, instead of voting against his compensation, just fire the asshole. It’s a safe bet to say he’s at the heart of everything corrupt underlying what’s been going on with ActiBlizz.

What is this, a console for ANTS?!
