For now, we just have a nice trailer for a game that nobody really knew they wanted

Yeah, fair to say.

Cheesy, kind of awkward? Sure. Beautiful as all hell? Absolutely.

While Rexxar’s design might be all that great, it definitely nails the feeling of having a pet in WoW:

Lone Druid and all heroes who make pets are generally Junglers or Lane Pushers — neither of which are all that important in HoTS.

Pet/minion-based heroes like Rexxar and to a lesser degree Zagara, Nazeebo, Azmodan and Abathur have a unique advantage: multi-tasking. You can send the pets to attack an enemy hero while your character makes their escape, or dump a bunch of minions on an enemy fort before leaving to go take an objective or merc camp.

It was a combination. Dinklage is a good actor, but when voicing Ghost, it never seemed like he was sure of what he was doing or what the context was. Combine that with the horrendous writing, the one-sided conversations he spends most of his time engaging in, and the result wasn’t pretty.

Well, I brought it up because I play it. Certainly, being free means Warframe gets more leeway, but that’s more of a perk than a dealmaker. Just comparing their gameplay, variety and flexibility, Warframe blows Destiny clear out of the water; the fact that you can get a better time out of Warframe without paying a

It’s very telling that I play Destiny with friends and pretty much only for that, whereas I play Warframe alone (I.e. without IRL friends) and have done so for the majority of my 500+ hours logged and yet still go back to it on a semi-regular basis.

Except then it would have to be in the past tense, “the more I played it”, because it started to feel stale a long time ago. And I’m not nearly the only one who felt that way, hence the general “you”.

Okay? I’m not really sure what point you’ve been trying to make here. I should overlook Destiny’s shoddy mechanics because...the maps are big? And it looks nice? Lots of other games have big maps and look nice, and they manage to have solid gameplay to go with it, make the time you spend in those maps feel more

Nope. Not at all. Yes, absolutely, Warframe will have you repeating the same actitivties, but there’s enough randomness present in map generation and enemy spawn to keep things feeling fresh. The key difference is that Warframe manages to stay consistently enjoyable, offering a wide variety in the types of activities

Severe imbalance in the character classes too. My favorite gameplay style for PvP is stealth and assassination, so I tried so hard to make a speedy Bladedancer build work. It was an endlessly frustrating slog, filled with Supers wasted by the other person having a one-hit-kill attack ready to counter me (like Warlocks

Eh...not really? I mean, sure, opinions be opinions, and it certainly seems nice at first, minus the goofy writing, but the more you play it, the more shallow and repetitive it ends up feeling. And I also say this as someone who has put a lot of time into it, like, a lot: I wouldn’t have played it nearly as long if I

The way they phrased it, my understanding is that they were saying free extras helps push more sales of the game itself through word of mouth recommendations. “Hey, I really like this game and it came with all this extra content that improved it and added things, you should check it out!”, that sort of thing. Now,

-You get 1-2k gold each for reaching certain milestones on your account level.

It’s fair if it doesn’t appeal to you, Warframe is more Diablo-esque while Destiny is more MMO-esque, so the differences in general design appeal to people differently. And sure, Destiny has that basic Halo gameplay where it feels good to run around and shoot things, it’s just when it gets to the point where you start

I play both. Warframe is objectively better.

I think you might have gotten that statement a little...backwards? One of those games allows you to play without paying a dime and gives you a wide variety of characters, weapons and activities to play around with, and it isn’t Destiny.
