Eh, it would be rather ridiculous if this was a different Warrior, but this IS Sonya we’re talking about, a hybrid tank/DPS that sacrifices initial durability and damage reduction for higher damage and self-healing.

Yeah, that makes a whole, whole lot of sense. Destiny’s been a majorly half-assed game from day 1, and while it might actually be pretty good eventually, that’s probably going to be another year or two and a ton of added/revamped content down the line.
They really half-assed the entire story, going for that serious and deadpan tone but then providing none of the emotional investment to reinforce it. We never see any of the Last City, talk to any civilians or are ever given the feeling that this is some fragile sanctuary under constant siege from an overwhelming…
Really wish I could go back to the glory days of Transformers: War for Cybertron’s multiplayer. Started playing it in the beta and was instantly hooked, just couldn’t put it down; I have yet to find another competitive team-based multiplayer that was so excellently designed and balanced, with its emphasis on more…
I honestly don’t see the ever making another Warcraft RTS. Part of it is the point you made about the massive stretch of plot and lore developments that WoW has brought about. Part of it is that StarCraft seems to be in a much better position to carry the RTS torch, with campaigns that brought more variety and…
I get the strong impression that Raynor, Kerrigan and Zeratul will all die during Legacy, paving the way for a new generation of characters to carry the torch and drive new stories. WoL and HotS both feature a character being mentored by the main hero (Matt Horner and Zagara, respectively) with the implication that…
I am super, super psyched for the Legacy campaign. This is the apocalyptic resolution I’ve been waiting for since the Dark Origins mission at the end of Brood War blew my mind all those years ago.
Having played through the campaigns for both games multiple times (including a recent marathon to prepare for LoV), I’d say that particular plot thread makes a lot more sense than it might initially seem.
I could totally see them putting in Maar, the psionic hybrid Zeratul fights in his Wings of Liberty side campaign.
Nintendo, seriously, what in Naga’s name are you doing? What’s with all of this ”multiple versions with different features and if you want everything you need to buy the deluxe edition” nonsense? You earned so much goodwill from the fans with how amazing Awakenings was, are you really going to jeaopardize that with…
It’s also important to note that among the cards that show up on the table at the beginning of the trailer, all of which show playable heroes, the archangel Auriel can clearly be seen.
Have they mentioned a price? I was really hoping for a collection of the whole trilogy, and given that 1 had the smallest set of features (no Horde, no 4-player co-op, smallest weapon variety, etc), I really don’t want to put a full $60 on a game that I’d only be getting for a nostalgia run-through with friends and…
This one is from Deviantart.
Not so much hyped but intrigued. It had some serious flaws (primarily that they give you all of these fun, unique tools for dealing out death and destruction, then restrict you from using them if you want the best ending), but it was an excellently-designed stealth game with lots of secrets and strong world-building.
There is actually an easier way to complete that third step: grab two willing friends and head into Rumble, the free-for-all match type. Find out-of-the-way corners of the map to hide in and tell your friends where you are, at which point they make a beeline to your location and let you kill them over and over again.
I really hope the new hunter spec utilizes a lot of stealth and utility mechanics: the current two specs are really split between useful and useless when it comes to PvE. Gunslinger’s ability to deal focused damage at range is decent but too often pales in comparison to rocket spam and Warlock AoE, and Bladedancer’s…
So it’s basically a re-release of the Anniversary Collection, minus two of the games? This is what you give us after years of neglect?
