The funny thing is, I have a roommate who gets up before me and so she feeds my cats, but my cats are very much my cats and mostly ignore my roommate. My conclusion is my cats love me even though I don't feed them.

The biggest difference between a dog and a cat is that you can kick the shit out of a dog and it will still love you, cruel to a cat and you will never see that cat again.
