I have a niece who is a sensation in the jumping events in Track and Field. When she started in Jr High, the coaches etc were awed and amazed how quickly she took to it and excelled. What they didn't know is that she had been jumping ponies since she was 5 and already understood distances, striding, and the mechanics…

I from Md and It happened to me too. I was in NYC at a horse show (the National use to held at Madison Square Garden) and after a good day showing, we went out for dinner and the waiter was like "you aren't from here are you?" I think it was because we had manners.
