Xbox Live Arcade is locked and there are games that have never been on sale or dropped in price... since launch. There is zero proof prices will fall or be cheaper in this scenario because there is no competition on locked hardware.

It wasn't grimdark, though. Yes, some innocents died and you see Metropolis being crushed, but in the end Superman saves millions of lives, and the Kryptonian versus Kryptonian fighting was very, very far from realistic. There was just a lack of Superman bumbling around as Clark and knocking into stuff.

Any time spent saving random people and not concentrating on the immediate threat just would've led to even more people dying. Clark had the right priorities, you take out the world builder, then the fleet sheep, and then mop up any remaining kryptonians. Then you can spend time saving people from the crumbling city.
