It was the worst of the overly-talky Zeldas, that didn’t help.

People convincing themselves that BOTW2 was going to be announced here was pretty funny.

My memory of the latter Mana games (and it’s been a while since I’ve played anything past SD3, so this might just be repressed trauma from giving up on the GBA one for this reason) is that they kinda got up their own asses when it came to overcomplicating the systems.

Oh, look... swords.

I *believe* this is the first Mario Golf on a console to feature a single-player story mode with the RPG elements (64 and Toadstool Tour certainly didn’t, and those are the ones I put the most time into). That’s absolutely good news, as is the Mii inclusion. Doesn’t make up for skipping two generations (including the

I mean, let us just be thankful that it looks like we’re getting the first ever console Mario Golf with a single-player RPG mode.

I’m sure someone’s beaten me to this, but... exactly how big is Discovery that they have a turbolift facility that is AT LEAST a km long? And about half again as wide? RE always seems more popular in Japan than outside of Japan, so that makes sense.

Not dark at all - in the book version of The Martian, that scenario is laid out.

Just hire Will Ferrell and be done with it.

The little twinkle in Laurie’s eyes suggesting that he was going to go on a typically English rant about Aussies, but dialed himself back, was great.

As awful as Malcolm was, he was competent (ridiculously so). Awful and incompetent just reads as annoying, which is what Gad came across here.

“always keeps me on the edge of my seat, never totally comfortable that I’ll be able to guarantee a North American GP in the future.”

... this has to happen the same year that Grand Tour decides to no longer review cars.  We’ve been robbed of a season’s worth of new material.

The X-Wing novels are, pretty universally, acknowledged as the best Star Wars fiction ever written.
