Kind of hard to do when they don’t sell cars here. I guess I’ll continue to... not buy them.

YEAH! I’m never buying a Renault again!
May your post be heard by Renault!
RE 4th: Cool, so fuck Renault.
And what price do you think EVs need to be at for “regular, working people” like you?
My parents have a ‘91 vanagon, and not sure if its possible on this one, but they removed the second row and kept the third row, which created a big living room kind of area in the middle, was kind of cool and makes it really useful since you can open the door on the side and store big items or put a small table, etc.
getting paid by the comma!
Fold the third row and pretend it’s not there.
Yes. And we need both.
It’s too low for someone like myself to be able to get in and out of though.
I hope to never see one of those again.
Almost hard to tell this is a car site.
I have one, love it as it does 90% of everything I need in a truck.
Good article because it generated a lot of response. Would rather drive a Maverick than my current 2006 Nissan Sentra with 186K miles. Loaded it with my wife and suit cases and lots of things we thought we needed for a three month winter stay on the Southeast coast. My car has been fairly reliable since it was bought…
Speaking as someone who ordered a Maverick in July and just took delivery last week, I ordered it because I have a wife and 2 kids. As my kids get bigger, so do their toys. I absolutely love being able to trek the whole family and our bikes to the trails without wasting a ton of gas to do it. Also the springtime trips…
But how many Maverick buyers actually do?
I drive a middle-aged Civic with a stick. I’m very happy with that car, and I don’t understand the attraction of trucks. My car is peppy, agile, and easy to get into tight parking spots.
$20,000 + options + destination fee + tax of 8.875% plus dealer and DMV fees means the out the door price is closer to $40,000 than 20,000
Automotive journalists need to get over “people don’t need a truck/crossover/suv, they should just buy a CAR” thing. It’s beyond boring at this point. Ford stopped making cars because people didn’t buy them. Consumers chose a crossover or SUV. I drive a MK7 GTI, but honestly, the Tiguan I had before this was way…
I’m honestly just glad people have an alternative to the full sized trucks, which are just monstrous now.
