Looking forward to? None of them? If they actually end up on a dealer’s lot I won’t be able to afford them. I work a solid job, as does my wife. Together we break into the six figures annually, and with the price of rent and everything else skyrocketing a new car is the farthest thing from either of our minds.

Maverick.

The Ford Lightning: Its the first full-sized electric truck. It would give me more performance than my gas truck has to offer, while enjoying the same $/mi as a ~50mpg car. It would be higher if my electricity wasn’t so expensive. It has the added benefit of being able to power my house in an outage. I have a

The Dodge muscle car EV:

Probably better for him that he didn’t make it. Imagine this guy and his “convoy” getting lost in inner city D.C. They’d eat him alive.

They can still beat the crap out of these Flabby Seditionists

Why?

If protesters fail to obey the law, charge them with every possible violation. Blocking an international crossing is a very serious crime.

If you park your truck in the road deliberately blocking access to retail spaces, homes, and first responders and are told to move and you don’t, then you get what you deserve. You can protest without being an asshole. If you are an asshole, you lose all right to complain.

I don’t think the BLM protests were causing international economic impact. There’s a difference between peaceful protesting, and blocking trade routes. Also, the BLM protests were a grassroots movement, while the “freedom convoy” was funded by a lot of countries other than Canada.

Protesting is an important right. They went far beyond simple protesting. They weaponized their vehicles, using them to block, intimidate and harass the surrounding residents for weeks. They relished the fact that they were so big, they could completely shut down streets and other people’s lives with little recourse

It wasn’t a protest.

Yes. In Canada we have what is called the Critical Infrastructure Defence Act.
