@heavylee-again: doh! sorry, was moving way too fast posting during lunch. I meant to say the Nexus One is a CDMA phone and AT&T doesn't support CDMA so you'd only get 2g with an N1 on AT&T. [gigaom.com]

@heavylee-again: Because it is a GSM phone which AT&T doesn't support. There will be a CDMA version of the N1 for verizon, but rumor has it AT&T wants android hardward exclusive to their network. *rolls eyes*

Good stuff, but saying recirc mode doesn't matter in the winter is only accurate if you enjoy breathing the exhaust fumes of the vehicles in front of you in commuter traffic. I turn recirc mode off only to defog, keep it on otherwise so I can breath.

My creative solution to iPhone/ATT service woes: Sell the iPhone on craigslist and get an Android phone from T-Mobile or Verizon.
