unless there is independant video footage backing up what the cops say, I just do not believe them.

I grew up in rural Minnesota. Every single 14 year old dude I knew had a gun. Plenty of them were busy with harmless activities while also owning guns. hell, most of them considered the fact that they were teenagers who owned guns as evidence that they were good moral Christian Americans. The primary difference here…
Always now, the first thing we hear is the police feared for their lives. These well-armed, presumably well-trained, professionals who, again presumably, chose to go into their profession, are evidently scared out of their minds every second of their shifts.
Poverty, lack of education, food deserts, terrible women’s health services, miseducation about our bodies (I have learned more about my body in the comments section than I ever did in school). Possibly related to our high percentage of C-sections too maybe? (Meaning people who have multiple deliveries via C-section…
I’m gonna get some good mileage out of this today.
I’m sure deep down she really respects your need to remain morally pure.
Sam Bee is not obligated to support your quixotic dream of remaking our democracy at the expense of our actual democracy.

I’m so sorry about your cousin. I got my second kitty because a friend of my godmother’s passed unexpectedly and he needed a home. He and my first kitty aren’t best friends, but they tolerate each other. I’m sure she’ll get adjusted soon and at least become best friends with you!
I’ve been outnumbered for two years and I LOVE IT. I kind of ended up with my second cat - he just came to me in the way animals do - but I’m so glad I have him. I think he’s good for my other kitty who’s older and I just love my snuggle bags of fur.
“I just wanted to have a conversation with her, but everything just went wrong,” McKenzie told police. “If she could just see what a chill guy I am, I know she’d want to be with me.”
I voted for Bernie, but was in one of the first primaries and as time went on, moved over to Hillary. Most of my friends who voted Bernie have said the same!
I am a Sanders supporter, and the vast majority of my friends and family are also Sanders supporters. Everyone is perfectly content to vote for Hillary in November. I know only one person (and this is someone I do not consider a friend) who supported Sanders and who won’t vote for Hillary. One. Would it surprise you…
3? Big Lincoln Chafee fan? ;)
Turnout is more important than percentages anyway. If Bernie gives a few of his supporters who might have stayed home a reason to get up and vote on election day, that’ll be helpful.
I’ve stressed this to many of my fellow Bernie supporters: since I’m a woman and a person of color, I cannot let a Trump presidency happen. Will I vote for Hill in November? Yes. Am I thrilled about it? Absolutely not.
They’ll listen eventually. The thing is, as stubborn as Bernie was about this when it became painfully obvious that he was not going to win, it seems like the campaigns have managed to hit on a strategy wherein he gets to take credit for some key platform concessions and his endorsement reads as genuine. The longer…
Well...I mean, over 90% of us had made the swing to Clinton even before this endorsement. So I doubt today will sway many people just because those people who still haven’t been swayed probably aren’t swayable, even by their own candidate’s words. But it’s still nice to have seen this happen.
Every liberal I personally know voted for Bernie and now every single one of them, myself included, is getting behind Hillary. We’re giving too much of a voice to the Bernie or Bust contingent who are a teeny tiny minority of his supporters and are people who probably do not generally vote and if they do, they don’t…
