A good friend’s father was a Connie pilot back in the days when these were new. He tells stories of how complicated these were for the flight engineers and mechanics to keep running, and how it seems something was always leaking, breaking, or on fire.

“I have no recollection of that, sir.”

This absolutely needs to happen.

Lesson of the day: don’t tailgate if you can’t drive your way out of a wet paper bag.

The proper industry term for an electric car is an REV: Remote Emissions Vehicle.

Your neighbors must love you...

Or, man the rail and moon them.

And they all need to breathe fire like that as well.

English law must be very different (aside from the funny wigs.) If this were in America, it would have been a million dollars... and the lawyers would have ended up with most of it.

It’s so much funnier in Spanish. Did the announcer really yell “avocado?”

“If anything, Saleen’s cars were mostly known for their numerous vents, lowered suspensions, and their propensity for spitting out headgaskets...”
Fixed that for you.

I’m sure there are a lot of owners that agree with you. On one hand, guaranteed VW doesn’t want to have to spend that kind of money, but on the other, CARB in their high holiness is completely within their power to force them to do exactly that.

Just getting your quotes and the right characters in alignment...

Needs the right picture:

I can’t help but think that the idiot here is the guy who gave him money in the first place.

He was the parts guy on the show, right?

It could have been worse... he could have had the DeltaWing coming up behind him.

“Borrow” a Michigan M-plate and people would buy it.

Disclaimer: one of my former jobs was designing/implementing vehicle camouflage for another automaker.

Camoflage fail... if they didn’t have the dazzle camo on those quarter panels nobody would have paid any attention to that truck.
