You guys went to town last night on this thread, so Imma just respond to the points you brought up to me and leave this be.
No, it's not the mindset of males. It may be the mindset of some males, and that subset tends to make up a good portion of the gamer population, but to say "all men are ___ and want ___" is as foolish as it is hyperbolic.
I don't think the idea of "what kind of content do you want to see in a game, customers?" is…
I've never run into the earring thing there, but what you're describing is also pretty common in Latin America. My last name in "Chang," and I can't tell you how many times people would quip, "oh, so Jackie Chan is your uncle, right?" or say "Korean, Chinese, Japanese, it's all the same. They're all chino." when I'd…
So long as it doesn't involve birds eating his liver, he's done better than his namesake :p
Indeed. I was a little disappointed that the element was missing with Enemy Unknown, as were the base defenses. Honestly, I enjoyed the base defense more than any other mission type.
Erotic love, specifically.
The Greek god of erotic love, to be precise.
The worst I've seen personally was a kid names Eros. I think his parents were going for Ares, but those pesky vowels make a world of difference.
Actually, maybe not. I knew a family who named their kid "Regalo de Dios," which means "Gift from God," and another guy who was just named "Dios."
In as much as these are companies—i.e. private establishments—enforcing their own rules on their own "property" of sorts, I completely agree.
More than anything else, I loved the atmosphere and story of these games. Those were phenomenal, even if the gameplay doesn't hold up to today's standards.
I understand how difficult this would be to pull off, but I'd love to see a game which showed the scale of space and things in space. To give some perspective, the now-defunct Iowa-class battleships' guns has a range of nearly 24 miles, meaning the round would spend over a minute in flight before hitting its target at…
Loved that show
Start with a chair or stool placed under you. Put one leg on it and use it to help you get up. Negatives can help as well.
I've never quite understood that part of Japan. A lot of places in Asia have a lot of emphasis on ethnic purity, including my own Korea, but not to the extent that you see in traditional Japan.
My condolences; I have an interracial family as well, and here in the States it's usually not as issue. My wife has been…
I tried to go back and play a femshep character, and I just can't do it. I was so sucked in by the lore, aesthetic, and open world-y-ness of the first game that having those taken out of the game bit by bit was hugely disappointing. With the ending being the story-breaking mess that it is, I couldn't get into the game…
You, sir, have found my second-favorite game ever.
*So* much yes.
