@Death_By_SnuSnu: Every time an episode opens my mouth drops in amazement. I don't know who did her wardrobe, but they had it out for Buffy.

@Keen314: I'm so glad to hear it's not just me!
I'm watching Buffy (and Angel) for the first time. And I have got to stop reading stuff like this because I get spoiled and then I get all pouty, even though it aired over a decade ago.
@yvanehtnioj: I wasn't sure how to read that either. The impression I'm getting is that Avery's defense was asking for leniency in the form of a shorter sentence since he'd already spent 18 years in prison on a wrongful conviction.
@Etoiles: I like the distinction you make between the wardrobe/jewelry/manicure and haircut, and makeup. My boss wears the expensive clothing and jewelry and very little make up. So maybe investing (ugh, I hate that term when referencing clothes) in a few classic pieces and getting a regular manicure would be more…
I wear make up a few times a year (Halloween and weddings), and I'm usually uncomfortable wearing make up (although I'm adequately capable of applying it).
#3 Burt's Bees Peppermint foot lotion - wash your feet, slather lots of the lotion on, and then put socks on for a few hours or overnight.
@CherriSpryte: I'm still holding out hope that Ianto being dead doesn't mean that he won't be brought back.
I let a white stylist do my hair. Once.
All you can eat sushi days - a couple of sushi places in my area this for $20 on Sundays/Mondays. Since I can eat a ton of sushi, this is cheap (er) and definitely worth it.
@rodmanstreet: Javier Bardem is hot but there's just something about Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The voice. The smile. The propensity to die on screen.
@dcwonderwoman: One of the articles linked said that the surgery was necessary to prevent infection and to reduce the risk of developing cancer. I don't know how valid that explanation is; it's entirely possible that the shelter just felt like he would never get adopted as a hermaphradite.
@EKane - say it wit ya CHEST!: I, too, have heard that going right when they open can mitigate wait times. Either way, though, it's worth it. And be adventurous - no matter what you get, it will be effing fantastic.
I love this song. Not just the way it sounds - beautiful and haunting and foreboding, epic and empty - but the way it captures the love/hate, fevered passion of an abusive relationship, the constant internal back and forth, the promises.
Hot Doug's in Chicago. When it's nice outside, the wait is 1 - 2 hours. When it's vile outside, the wait is still ~1 hour.
@American as Apple Pie: My kitty is okay - he'd managed to get a cut on the tip of his tail, and then he basically chewed it down to the bone and bled all over my apartment. He had it docked, but there was 5 months of regular vet visits and weekly bandage trips and emergency vet visits because he went a bit psychotic…
The most memorable: I have a yowling, bleeding cat in a carrier and am on the way to the vet and the taxi driver goes on and on about a dog he had to put down because he couldn't afford to keep it, tells me to smile, and then proceeds to hit on me. Aggressively.
There I was, skimming through this article and nodding and totally going along with it, and then I saw the picture of the Winchester brothers. Now all I can think about is the pretty that is going to come back to my television this fall and how Sera Gamble is going to handle Season six and... I am so easily…
@morninggloria: This must explain Lady Gaga, no? She just can't find any pants that fit...
Add to Wednesday: the 3rd chapter of LXD comes out on hulu. It's actually pretty sweet.
