I loved it though, hilarious. Spun it around and went right back out over the grass where some would've likely parked it and said to hell with it. Gotta love Kimi.

The Ferrari seemed to do well in race trim but how much of that was due to Alonso? It took Massa 18-19 to get the F2012 and the Pirellis figured out. Look at the USGP, Alonso is by no means slow but he was a solid 1-2 seconds off the pace every lap, as was Massa. Same as winter testing showed.

Compared to Vettel? Wow, first I've heard of that. Fernando is generally well respected by most, just doesn't tap dance for the camera like Vettel quite as well.

No doubt Vettel is seriously talented (and also a bit of a whiner), but the fact that he beat Alonso by a mere 3 points with what is widely acknowledged to be a vastly superior car says it all.

Heck of a season but there is no doubt that Fernando Alonso is the best driver in the sport, period. The Ferrari was consistently off the pace and somehow Alonso man-handled that car around the track and put himself on the podium all season. It's a shame that Grosjean's recklessness at Spa may well have cost

Yep, without question.

Traffic going out wasn't too bad really. I got my tickets last minute from one of my vendors and didn't have a parking pass. Came up 71, went south on Wolf Road toward the tracks and got within one mile of COTA where I found a $10 cash lot. Walked the mile in and mile out, no problem at all and didn't sit much when

From my vantage point in the turn 9 grandstands I have to say it was a fantastic race and the venue is superb. Kudos to the COTA team for pulling this off in such a short period of time.

Bought a 3" bench vise, a vacuum pump, and a set of A/C gauges from HF and all still work great after years and repeated use.

HA, Sears jacks . . . that spiffy $200 aluminum racing jack of theirs lasted me one season. Just, conveniently for them, out of the 12 month warranty period.

I'll be watching it as a zombie fresh off my whirlwind 72 hours trip from Houston to Italy and back. But I will watch every moment of coverage from the comfort of my couch and 55" Sony. After the traffic debacle that was the 5,000 person run I figure I'll give them a year to work out the logistics kinks.

Shiner for the win. Meh on the St Arnold's, not a huge fan of MOST of their stuff but Christmas Ale started hitting the stores in the last couple weeks and their Christmas brew is one of the best I've ever had.

Don't know how it could be anything else. Just menacing . . .

Good call on the Charger. And it's not just the back end, the front end of an SRT8 at dusk with just some parking and fog lights on is sinister.

Good review, glad to see Audi is still kicking it.

It's a tune up year. Car is brand new and they're only running a handful of races to get data and improve the car. Considering how the newness of the team and car, it's a miracle they're finishing races.
