Carrot is for people who have enough self-worth not to let a funny app bother you.

As it is, Warner Bros. TV probably never talks with the movie side. I mean, yeah, the timing was lame, but we're talking about corporations.

Looks like this app is gone from the store!

Nah. Rednecks are easy to get along with. Just fill 'em up with beer.

I don't even think you watched the movie. I think you just read a Berkeley undergrad's term paper on Scribd and lifted it. Seriously. Getting your panties in a wad about "Idiocracy" kind of makes the point.

Matt Novak probably fears rednecks.

I think the difference is, Dungy was asked if he would have drafted Sam. He said, no, and gave a reason. He was not asked, "Would you draft Michael Vick" or anything similar.

Is it Hot Sauce or Hot Sizzle? You refer to him both ways. Either way, he rules.

Is it me, or does he remind anyone else of the Green Lantern named Tomar Re from the comics?

Unless you are a superior athlete in one of the "major" sports, it's unlikely you will get a full ride anywhere. If you are playing a minor, non-revenue sport - like lacrosse — expect a partial scholarship, at best. Focus on academics.

I think among Superman's powers is the ability to do math.

When I saw the trailer for this, with the John Williams score, I loved it. Hit all the right notes, showed promise, etc. Then I saw the movie. What a let down.

I liked this a lot as well, and bought the director's cut DVD. I didn't even mind the rewrite of the ending, because it still served the story. Where it lost me, however, was the pornific love scene on the Owlship. It came off (so to speak) as more comical than meaningful.

Scared the crap of out me. Sam Neill was just freakish.

"Mystery Men" is one of my favorites, even if Janeane Garofalo is in it. Bill Macy was just awesome in this, especially when he gives the speech just before eating the sandwich. And the way he interacts with his wife and kids. Brilliant.

"The Rocke-who?" Still the best Jennifer Connelly line in the movie.

Just watched this a couple of months ago. Dreadfully boring.

I thought "Idiocracy" was a documentary.

The only thing I didn't like about it was when they made Hal Jordan angsty. He isn't about shirking responsibility because his dad died in a plane crash. Hal Jordan should get the ring and say, "HELL, YES!" Too little joy.
But the casting was very good - Mark Strong OWNED Sinestro.
