I think as she grew older, she would want to return to whatever is left of the fireflies and sacrifice herself on the chance she could make things better. Joel would go after her and try to stop her, but would ultimately fail. Either he would die trying, or he would be too late, and it'd be the perfect way of showing

See, I wouldn't like to see Joel as a hunter. I think enough is implied about what he did in the first game without actually needing to show it. You can infer that he was just like the dudes you were killing, and he did similar stuff.

I think it they're going ahead with a sequel, they'll tease it at the end of the Sony conference, though it'll literally just be a logo or something. The emphasis will most certainly be on Uncharted this year.

Yeah, I see where you're coming from - like I said, I used to have the same view. I'm an English Lit. major, I once wrote a piece analysing the artistic merits of TLoU and how the narrative works so well on a technical level.

A Last of Us Sequel. I was against the idea at first, but over time, I've just found myself wanting to return to that world, and to see what happens to those characters next.

Way better than the last preview. I was expecting Beyond: Two Souls 'gameplay' throughout. It seems closer to Uncharted, just with Beyond-esque sections and camerawork.

His character model doesn't actually look that good though - that image is pre-rendered. So it's not really a good way of showing how much graphics have changed.

When IS this set, actually?

Joker/Harley's son, maybe? I'm aware of the DLC that seemed to debunk that plot strand, but why have it there in the first place? Screams of a cover-up. The Arkhan Knight would have similar motivations to Batman himself, though in reverse, as a result.

I'm happy with my PS4! I really haven't used the share functions a whole lot, although I live streamed Outlast: Whistleblower, which was fun! :P I'm feeling the Summer/Early Adopter drought, but at the same time, there have been plenty of indie games to 'snack on' between some of the bigger releases - so much so

It's not even graphics I'm looking for - when I say they don't 'look' amazing, I'm not talking about the aesthetics. I'm saying the games don't look that fun.

EDIT: Before this post inflames people, I mean they don't look fun as in system-selling fun.

Good article, Stephen! And I'm glad you're trying to take some of the heat off poor Nintendo. That Dillon character is interesting - how have I never heard of him before?! Personally, I tend to prefer games with more of a grittiness or realism to them. Nintendo would never make a Last of Us, for example, where as I

Why would people buy a Wii U for this? I'll never understand why any Nintendo franchise becomes system-selling. These games look good, but they don't look amazing.

Well, yeah, TLoU2 is less certain. But I have a feeling it'll be announced. We know Naughty Dog were discussing how to continue the series (saying they'd only do so if they could think of a story that was genuinely worth telling, and there was a 50/50 chance it'd get made), and that 'fan art' of an older Ellie seems

The only really wacky rumours I've seen so far are 'GTA VI Announcement' and the Zelda one you mentioned. Most of them have been fairly grounded, this year!

While this article makes sense, sometimes the rumours suggest something that seems really likely. I fully expect Sony to show Uncharted 4 and tease TLoU2, for example.

It's not just shooters so much as it is first person shooters. Third person games still have a certain freshness to them. But if VR is successful, I'm sure we'll see some big progressions with regard to genre dominance .

They don't all look edgy. Particularly T-Bone & Chin.

Physically having sex with somebody doesn't become non-consensual because you're saying 'no' during the foreplay even though you're clearly turned on and participating. It's like saying 'I hate you' while doing CPR on somebody and later being blamed for their death purely because of what you said, not because of what

Yeah, but she was clearly enjoying it! She was helping him get his clothes off at the end, it totally became consensual. Psychologically, the scene is far, far more complex than 'Jaime rapes Cersei' and it pisses me off that there's this crowd of people who have totally missed that. People don't always say what they
