@merc-ai: Aren't the Sith driven by hate and fear? Sounds like the "evil" category to me!

Intriguing article. People do generally play games for escapism I think, whether that's consciously or not. It's an entertainment form, and pretty much all entertainment takes you out of your life temporarily.

You make it sound so ace when you talk about the "adventure", when in reality, the "adventure" meant "pixels, annoying music and long loading times"!

Well, I bet you feel very guilty ;)

Games AREN'T art; unless, of course, you count Demoscape as part of gaming. They're interactive experiences; which, for me, is a much more intense experience than art.

I don't think it's down to bad acting, I think it's down to the fact that if it was shown in a realistic way, you'd be watching a group of people staying relatively still and discussing the gameplay, which wouldn't make sense to the viewer of the show. It's just a design decision.

@MaWeiTao: I know, GTA IV is a great game, but it IS overrated; there's nothing creative about it, it's just old ideas running on some very smooth framework to heighten the experience.

Who else thought of the obvious, inappropriate adjective for "tight place"? ;)

That eye image is AWESOME!

If it's anything as focused and bold as Bioshock, then Levine's new title is certainly one to keep an eye on.

@PierceTheVin: Yeah, it's only been a year. The first game will become useless to those who buy 2010, and the price only paid for a year.

@The Jerk: Me too! Fuck you Kotaku! xD

@TheDeadTexan: Ah, human psychology. The only thing holding back world peace.

It's kind of like how the Fantasy genre was pushed back by "Scientific Romance", which, as we all know, became Science Fiction. Ressurection is a Fantasy-esque concept, where as Infection is a scientific concept which could explain 'ressurections'.

They released a trailer for a demo? That's quite possibly the most stupid thing I've heard all day!

I'm sure I heard a statistic once that 95% of people who regularly use a Ouija Board become mentally damaged. Quite crazy, if you think about it.

I loved UFC 2009, but really, what could they possibly have added/improved to justify a purchase of another UFC game so soon?

I'm watching the feed, and his score is simply in the 1000s. Did he fail or something?

@data_enabler: That's awesome! Professional recording quality too, sounds like an actual song!
