I thought it felt super forced (and the lighting looked mad cheap in the opening), and then Emily was talking about how she was missing half of herself and I sighed and realized how upsettingly and deeply emotionally invested I already am in this for some reason I don’t know stop judging.

Dylan is a good writer, but yeah it seems like a stretch for PR which is just odd to me.

I think if the Clinton campaign has anything, they’ll be waiting not just to demolish Trump but the down-ballot races as well. If something else about him comes out, it’s not going to look great for the Establishment types who have chosen to stick by him.

It’s usually hard to smell yourself, I think. It’s almost always other people who notice first. By the time you smell it yourself, you’re usually fouling the hell out of whatever space you’re in.

Totally agreed. RE4 presented a new path and basically paved the way for more action-oriented stuff in a similar vein like Gears. Rather than continue down its own path, Capcom just looked to the things that RE4 inspired and cannibalized them.

The one place where QTEs totally suck in the game is the insta-fail boss fight that’s nothing but. It’s like a terrible prophecy of what’s to come.

To me, it’s horror in the way a film like Aliens is considered horror (especially as compared to the original). It’s a much more tense, frantic kind of horror than the atmospheric jump-scare of its predecessor.
