Yup! Remember she pretended to be a different girl in order to kill Meryn Trant.

I don’t want the Mad King stuff to dovetail with Bran time nonsense either, but I would be ok with it if it was the prior Three-Eyed Raven attempting to communicate/warn others through the flames and his methods not only failed but lead to a further destabilization of the realm. That would keep the lore historical

She can wear the faces. She did it last season.

I saw everyone like them over on AVC.

To me, it seemed always clear that Arya was going to come up to the edge of being a FM and then not commit.

I feel like I’ve read somewhere that Kubrik was even explicit about calling AI a robotic Pinocchio while working on it (and obviously the end film makes that connection explicit as well), so yeah, agreed.

Half-Life 3: Blue Shift

This film should have basically been their version of Fellowship’s opening about the War of the Last Alliance that laid the groundwork before giving way to a more focused story like Arthas.

Even LotR looked like it was more fun. Another thing about LotR, that I think a lot of these films fail to notice, is that the viewer essentially starts by following an outsider to “the world,” so the initial world-building and accompanying info dump is done through Frodo’s eyes. Fellowship is a structural masterpiece

The word of mouth out of premiers is always super positive. See the last Fantastic Four or Batman v Superman or

I’ve never seen Super, but the highlights on Goku and Vegeta’s skin makes me think they have oiled up before the fight.

Holy shit. Yes.

DARIO ARGENTO PRESENTS

That’s the best part!

The next time on GoT thing didn’t show much, but it did basically show that yeah, the army is still right behind them, so I’m expecting a Benjen ex machina to somehow turn the tide.

They’ve also called him out in Bran’s flashbacks this season.

It’s been my guess from the beginning of this arc (at least for the show as I haven’t read the books) that she won’t become a Faceless Man, and this is very much a Batman and the League of Shadows type situation.

I think Jack Bender and the editor (tried to find the name and couldn’t) deserves a lot of praise for orchestrating the action and intercutting the warging in an incredibly effective and clear way.

I don’t mind the time travel stuff as is right now but

Ha, I did the same thing last night.
