At the same time, I worry that this is definitive proof that my generation has officially become the same brand of sad, tired nostalgia whores that inspired the Eagles’ “Hell Freezes Over” tour and multiple digitally remastered Beatles CD boxed sets featuring That Time Ringo Starr Had the Hiccups.

Appreciate your solid pun game.

Will not read this libel. The Fast and the Furious has become fucking great, and a lot of it was due to Lin’s kinetic directing finally establishing a language for the series (and the series realizing how to have fun).

Almost 100% what it is. I bet there’s even a “funny” scene about how this old tech is even more trustworthy than the new stuff or whatever.

Yavin Prime, at least, isn’t a moon. The rebel base was just on the moon, Yavin 4.

Which makes me wonder what changed about his demands for Suicide Squad.

Nicolas Winding Refn shot this scene.

She’s here to fight! Despite her powers not being relevant or helpful at all in this scenario.

I had to rewind because I legit thought it was McKellen for a minute. Also I just looked up young Ian McKellen and, boy, those cheek bones are not fair:

I think Grandpre’s early ones are a little hodgepodge, but the later ones are really fantastic. Something about Kibuishi’s art just feels flat to me (which I recognize as ironic since Grandpre’s tend to be more geometric).

Oh, that would be good. I always imagined something similar, but more Clancy Brown (I blame his height).

Wait WHAT?

Symbolism: it’s now a spoiler.

Bracketing the whole issue with calling these spoilers, where the hell is Memento?

Yes.

It’s the goddamn American dream.

Please Kickstart away my student loans, and I will draw for you any scene from a film, whether I have seen it or not, like this harrowing one from Salo:

His Gone Girl performance was an actual revelation. I had no idea he could be that good.

Totally would be into that. The only problem, though, is that they’ve confirmed the Episodes are all about “continuing the generational story” of the Skywalkers, so we’ll have to wait for the anthology films for stuff that isn’t that.

I honestly am not sure what they were even thinking with that art style.
