And thus vaping was born.

I was there over the summer, and yeah, they do not give a fuck about anything like that.

The opening was perhaps my favorite portion of Morrowind, and I think—just as much if not more than the art direction—responsible for the alien feel of the game. The main story line is given no greater weight than any other quest, and you’re just thrown into the world and told to get going.

Been replaying the original Mass Effect, and this is a pretty common occurrence in it. I often find myself thinking what Shepard says isn’t exactly what the option suggested.

Hm. I get that. I felt like that mostly existed on the lower difficulty levels, though, where it was little more than a QTE mechanic (but that existed in the first one for me as well).

Mine was 21. I’d basically never touch a game while in architecture school, but when a break hit, I was videogame binge city. It was beautiful.

Been digging the slightly more stylized art direction in this one.

Video games are the only medium in which I’ve ever seen people use “I experienced the whole game” as a way of discrediting an argument. If you were talking about a book or movie you found disappointing, no one would question you “100%ing” it. Hell, if you didn’t finish it, people would probably be dismissing your

They definitely emphasized outright combat more, but I thought the mechanics of it were a lot more polished and responsive in City. It’s the only thing about that game I preferred. Asylum’s focus was its biggest asset. It just nailed everything it set out to do.

Holy shit. Did it actually look like this one because. . .

True. The best part was just the pause between the two thoughts, though, as if the realization that it was bullshit logic occurred but had to be suppressed.

There was some line last night where one of the broadcasters—I forget who—actually brought up his domestic violence issue and then brushed it off with a “But he sure can play football!” Felt like the narrative of Hardy in a nutshell.

Ha ha!

Have you watched them recently? I thought that when they first came out, but AotC was far and away the worst to me on a rewatch.

Uh, where?

I mean, it’s definitely censorship. These costumes were clearly integral to the narrative arc and thematic undercurrents of the game. Removing them compromises their artistic statement and the message contained within them. How am I even supposed to get scared now?

The “develop organically” is the difference, I think. Rewrites happen because of stuff happening on set: things going wrong, smaller roles expanding due to the skill of the actor, improvisation of actors or environments, etc. There’s a sense of feedback there that is the story reacting, in some way, to what’s

It’s going to sound weird to say it, but you should learn cursive for this thing. Something about writing in it just feels even better than writing in print.
