Muji ones hold up pretty well, I’ve found. So hopefully these will have a little bit of resistance for you.

This looks like a crazier version of BlockDude to me.

The other reviews of excellent games bug you?

It made me just think of this tortured sentence:

When I was volunteering after Sandy, a woman I was working under—who had taken on a super human amount of work—expressed frustration at what she called “liketivism” as people shared their social media stuff but never showed up in person. Guess there’s just multiple ways to call this stuff out.

I don’t really understand why games have moved to the “press X to run” model of movement. It honestly feels like a step backwards from the analog stick (parts of Mario 64 feel showcased to highlight that ability) allowing a wider range of movement from just walk/sprint. I would assume it’s to make PC dev/porting

Is it really $50? That’s insane.

I think this article is pretty refreshing/funny. We put up with so much bullshit in video games that it’s nice to just read someone go off on it for once rather than sort of hedge criticisms or begrudgingly accept it.

How on earth where you able to get all the way to Mike Tyson in 20 seconds? You are a god.

Wow. So this is what falling in love feels like.

That rat is basically a reoccuring sitcom character in my life in NYC.

Ugh. The paint one kills me. I’m an architect, and they come up with the most easily changeable parts of a building to hate.

It was this one, and they stapled them.

The justification was that it was “chocolate” or something amazing like that.

I wish, but unfortunately House Hunters is totally fake, otherwise I’m almost sure you would see that stuff pop up. They should think about actually doing it sometime just to see how it plays out.

Really great article, but one (very minor) question: What Not to Wear wasn’t apart of the new slate of shows in 2008, right? I remember it airing around the same time as Trading Spaces. And it was actually kinda helpful! Or at least I remember it being that way.

Yeah, but could we interest you in this new TD Bank we have going up? They have the best hours!

Pretty sure that would escalate it from “this was a mistake” to “there’s a reason we got the call” as well.

I’m an architect doing the same in NYC and feel your pain. #solidarity.
