When I was volunteering after Sandy, a woman I was working under—who had taken on a super human amount of work—expressed frustration at what she called “liketivism” as people shared their social media stuff but never showed up in person. Guess there’s just multiple ways to call this stuff out.

I don’t really understand why games have moved to the “press X to run” model of movement. It honestly feels like a step backwards from the analog stick (parts of Mario 64 feel showcased to highlight that ability) allowing a wider range of movement from just walk/sprint. I would assume it’s to make PC dev/porting…

Really great article, but one (very minor) question: What Not to Wear wasn’t apart of the new slate of shows in 2008, right? I remember it airing around the same time as Trading Spaces. And it was actually kinda helpful! Or at least I remember it being that way.
