Great. One more thing I'll never get invited to.

Could you imaging minding your own business in a new 5.0 you just brought, and then getting owned by some soccer mom in a fuckin' flex? I bet another 100 HP is a tune and a downpipe away on this thing. Gonna have to get one someday.

That's awesome, along the same lines I've been pondering the options available with the Ford Flex. AWD turbo stock, surely I can morph it into a beast of a sleeper. I love me a longroof sleeper and this one gets overlooked.

When I was a young boy, I had a few warts. Some were on my fingers. One was on my palm. A fourth was on the very tip of my nose. It was pointy and I was very embarrassed about it.

It could have been worse, Jason.

I feel bad for this girl, The clip itself is a little funny but she's clearly overwhelmed and I worry if a larger incident ever occurs she'll just curl into the fetal position while the flood waters surround her instead of simply walking up the nearest hill.

Ok, but that is a lot different than saying "there is a huge market for these vehicles". Obviously brand awareness is a totally different topic.

yeah, the ZF9HP has a fully decoupling PTO so there is no real 4WD loss when its decoupled aside from a little extra friction, and I'm guessing the EPA test doesn't ever really tax the 4wd system enough to active it.

I am in the Army, so I could care less. I just love how former Marines get their panties in a bunch when called an ex Marine, which they clearly are (hahah!)

Didn't mean to come across like a prick. My son is in the Marine Corps and I made the mistake of saying something like the in front of his CO. I got away with "you are a dumb civilian" remark :)

"Mr. Kroeker is an ex-Marine"

Oh wow. yeah! Well both the Honda and especially Mazda are pretty old platforms, as far as entry-level cars go. Hopefully they address this issue when designing new models.

the first quasi-crossover econobox seemingly 4wd capable thingy that gets well over 30mpg is going to sell very well.

He's right, that's what happens when business people interfere with engineers. Just back off, and let us do our damn job.

Ford did it first and did it best. Its the same story with the F-150 King Ranch. Ford got real luxury into a pick up first.GM tried it with that Cadillac pick up crap and the Denali line. Chrysler tried it with the Laramie, both failed to really bring the fight to Ford. F-150 reigns supreme in pretty much every model,

Maybe I AM your dad! You never call anymore.

You know, as much as I like trucks, I had completely forgotten that the Ram Runner even existed. Even with Ram beating out Chevy last month, I can honestly say that I have seen more Raptors around on the daily than new Ram trucks. Almost all of the Rams I see around are late 90s models.

The Jerk Store called, they're running out of you!

Oh man, what a way to make the Wrangler pickup we all want to badly... send it out with a bigass HEMI.

MINI isn't a charity for nostalgic enthusiasts though. They have to run a business, and that means making modern, safety test passing machines with a good blend of utility people demand, while still remaining an excellent city car without much on the market any smaller.
