Why would it be either or? Clearly a mix of the two systems would be ideal, and other companies clearly are using a mix, given tat twy can read road signs.

To be fair, often times these things are outsourced and programmers aren’t paid to massively troubleshoot things, just to get them working and move on. QA unfortunately often takes a back seat and that is more a function of management than the developers themselves.

I see your point, however according to AER, everyone else was 10-11 seconds off their normal times during the FCY. That should give a better perspective on just how much slower the rest of the field was going while he was only a two-three seconds off his previous lap times.

I would never have considered the 6, but the Ecoboost I just might. The problem is that the base Mustang historically was a slow car. Now they get to 60 in 4.5 seconds?? Holy shit. Throw a tune on that and you’re faster than any GT before this generation.
