Ok, I’m with ya

They caught him:

He was on vacation!

Would you want to get up close and reach into that car? He could slam it into reverse at any second and take your arm with him

What makes them jerks?

This was California, not Texas

The math and physics behind this hasn’t changed.

Slow? Isn’t it still the second fastest aircraft ever made?

My issue with it would be that I wouldn’t be able to lean to change the angle of my vision out of the mirror. My Z has just a massive blind spot over my left shoulder that turning my head to look is impossible, so I lean forward a bit and look at my left mirror to get a complete view of my blind spot.

Beat me to it!

They didn’t discontinue the V8 RWD model. They just gave their customers more options, what’s wrong with that?

Meh, pretty rare occurance as far as that’s concerned. 999/1000 Jeeps (or other 4x4s) would go through that water no problem, but water just happened to splash up into just the wrong spot that time.

That’s an awesome idea!

Maybe moral was the wrong word. There is an issue in the fact that morals are not concrete facts. They’re subjective. To a great many people, a good moral foundation includes no sex before marriage and that abortion is wrong. I’m not talking about specific issues, but more I guess of a person’s character.

This was my response to that to another commenter:

I don’t agree with what’s going on here, but I don’t think this makes them scumbags. I think this is a difference in belief of what needs to be done to protect our country. I’ve got quite a few veterans in my family that are very patriotic, and also genuinely good, caring people.

By your argument, there should be no reason to wear sunglasses while driving, since you’re shaded by the roof of the car.

I think this is more a case of different beliefs in what they’re doing than EVERY person under the payroll of the Border Patrol being self-absorbed scumbags.

I’m not saying I agree with what’s going on here, but in what way does this make them scumbags? Under the current system, someone has to do the job, right?

True, but I’ve never been asked anything more than where I’m headed and where I’m coming from. Even at the Yuma checkpoint on the 8 where the last hour of that drive is literally in view of the border fence, lol.
