Something about those wheels, the color scheme, and even some of the shape seem a lot like the 1988 Pontiac Banshee concept.

Counterpoint: by 1979, when an entire century had passed since Benz got his first motor patent, circular headlights looked hopelessly played-out.

This is like an episode of Iron Chef, except that they’re actually cooking the iron 😂

Looking at the vanity plate, the “fitch” would be a polecat (feral ferret). Not even sure what “FITCH2ME” means in this context.

Agreed.

Or call it a “5-door hatchback.”

Saw the photo before I read the headline, and literally thought I was looking at the back of a Ford Focus 5-door hatchback. Which might be a decent car, but probably not what a person wants when they’re spending Maserati money.

And yet... barely any different than a Civic. OK, so no character line in the doors running through the door handles, and a slightly different nose. I mean, why didn’t they just make the Civic look like this to begin with, and then call this version the Civic Hybrid? The only people who will even be able to tell these

It’d be great to see/drive the Yeti in the U.S., and yes, I think people would flock to it. (By the way, Sasquatch would be a brilliant name for it, or for any car).
