Back to the hive then? I was really hoping for something new.. maybe head past the reef to Jupiter, or to mercury or something. If it’s just more missions on the moon and russia, I’ll be severely disappointing.

If this was announced after The Dark Below, I’d be all “$40? Are you kidding?” and then I’d write some big comment about how disappointing Destiny has been.
After House of Wolves, however, I’m all “YES GOOD!” because although there are still disappointing aspects to the game, it really seems to be on an upward…
“Ammo consumables can now stack to 100”
Jon Oliver. Jon Oliver’s love of soccer/wrath for FIFA is why this happened...
Can’t speak for everyone else, but I was busy having a job.
An article about Destiny that didn’t bash it?! The haters must be seething with rage now!
MMO (WoW, FF14, GW2): grinding for money/faction/dungeon that resets on a weekly basis for slightly improved gear.
See, I was joking. Your post made me sad.

it's impossible to understate how poorly this stuff reflects on the US to outsiders. a while ago I had someone from Kenya ask me about all the cop shootings going on back home, saying how horrible it is. you know things are bad when someone from Kenya shows you sympathy for shit happening in your home country.
That is a really well-worded argument. I like it.

There was a scandal here in the UK some years ago when it came out that credit card tips at certain restaurants were being used to top up staff salaries to the minimum wage. People were horrified at the idea that tips weren't 'additional' but being used as basic salary. I'm horrified that this is your normal.
Is it really losing money though? You're spending it on an experience, not ownership of a product. If I pay to see a movie in a theatre I'm not buying the movie. I think this is a perception difference.
I'd pay a few bucks to play this game. Not $60, but certainly $5 or something.
So WW II was pointless? Everyone should have just let Hitler run until he got tired?
